For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Engineer, Planning

Our client, is currently helping to lead a great partner in the energy transition from traditional business areas with decarbonised solutions such as CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) to innovative project such as renewables, hydrogen, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Senior Planner your main roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining full familiarity with company policies, directives and procedures and suggesting improvements to project planning methods, procedures, and practices to the Chief Engineer, Project Services.
  • Developing the resource loaded project baseline schedule and S-curve to monitor and report project progress, also playing an active part in scope management.
  • Creating project specific planning procedures where necessary.
  • Monitoring the Planning manhour spend against the budget on assigned projects.
  • Ensuring that the project planning network is set-up in such a way that it can exchange information with the Electronic Document Management System and SAP if required.
  • Maintaining full familiarity with all relevant software applications associated with planning (including relevant parts of the EDMS if required).
  • Assisting in preparation of proposals and making presentations to clients.

Sought Profile

  • Relevant experience as a Planning Engineer in the O&G industry, particularly with operating companies.
  • Experience would preferably include offshore, onshore and pipelines projects.
  • Mastery of Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Office suite is essential.
  • An undergraduate degree in an Engineering subject would be preferable
