Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced AV Engineer / Installer to join our friendly, skilled, and hardworking integration team. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll work closely with Project Managers and fellow engineers to deliver reliable, well-finished AV installations to a high standard — and help support our clients long after handover.
The Role
As an AV Engineer / Installer, you’ll play a key role in the preparation, installation, commissioning, and support of AV systems across a wide range of commercial environments. You’ll be trusted to work independently on site, while also collaborating closely with Project Managers and the wider team to overcome challenges and deliver projects on time and to specification. In addition to installations, you and your team will attend service calls for customers covered under Avensys Support & Maintenance Contracts, diagnosing and resolving faults to keep systems performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities

- Work confidently from instructions while maintaining the ability to problem-solve independently on site
- Maintain high installation standards, including:

- Secure and accurate equipment mounting
- Clear labelling and updates to drawings/schematics
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience building racks and pre-wiring AV systems
- Installation and configuration of UC solutions (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms)
- Experience installing LED screens, video walls, flat panels, and projection systems
- Installation and commissioning of AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, Biamp)
- Audio system setup including Dante networks, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and DSPs
- Strong structured cabling skills (pulling, terminating, and testing AV, control, and network cabling)
- Comfortable working on construction sites and following H&S procedures
- Physically capable of manual handling and lifting AV equipment
