Requirements:
- Eight years of experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM, with proven expertise in batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP) environments.
- Solid experience in application support, with a good understanding of Incident and Problem Management processes, along with the ability to contribute to software development and enhancement activities.
- Familiarity with industry-standard mainframe toolsets, development methodologies, and operational processes.
- Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets.
- A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems.
- Experience of implementing programming best practices, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance.
