We are looking for an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with strong functional expertise in manufacturing processes and hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP implementations and migrations. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of core PP functionalities and strong integration experience with related SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end SAP PP implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP PP solutions aligned with manufacturing processes.
- Configure and support SAP PP master data, including:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Routings
- Work Centers
- Production Versions
- Configure and support MRP, Demand Management, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
- Support discrete, repetitive, and process manufacturing scenarios as applicable.
- Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, QM, and WM/EWM modules.
- Participate in S/4HANA PP implementations and migration projects, including system conversions and brownfield/greenfield approaches.
- Collaborate with ABAP teams on PP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and custom developments.
- Conduct functional workshops, blueprinting sessions, and solution design discussions with business stakeholders.
- Support testing activities including Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–9 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes.
- Expertise in SAP PP master data and transactional processes.
- Strong experience with:
- MRP and Demand Management
- Capacity Planning and Scheduling
- Shop Floor Control and Production Orders
- Proven integration experience with MM, SD, QM, and WM/EWM.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP configuration and migration projects.
- Experience working on PP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and coordination with ABAP teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client-handling skills.
