Role: Senior IOS Developer

Location: London

Job Type: Contract – Inside

Rate: 300 GBP Per Day

The client expects strong SwiftUI expertise. Candidates are required to debug SwiftUI code during screen‑share interviews and write test cases using Mockito on existing SwiftUI code. Hence, a solid hands‑on understanding of SwiftUI is essential.

Note: The existing production applications were developed using UIKit; however, the client expects all new resources to be fully proficient in SwiftUI to support the migration to SwiftUI.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Producing high quality software which adds value to the business
  • Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
  • Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability
  • Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code
  • Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations

Tech Skills:

  • At least eight years of experience in IOS
  • Good experience in Swift UI, Objective C, UIKit, Xcode, GitLab/SourceTree
  • The ability to collaborate with lead engineers, architects, business analysts and other key stakeholders to understand the objectives and requirements
  • Experience in TDD/BDD, DevOps & Datastores, Client/Server Architecture
