Help Shape the Future of AI in Financial Services. Aveni is redefining how financial institutions use AI. We build real, production-ready agentic systems that reshape how banks, advisers and financial services firms operate, replacing fragmented processes with intelligent, end-to-end workflows. We've been recognised as Fintech of the Year for two consecutive years and awarded Best Specialist Technology Service at the Professional Adviser Awards 2025. Backed by leading investors and commercially supported by major financial institutions, we're scaling quickly as adoption of AI in financial services accelerates.

Our platform helps some of the UK's largest financial institutions deploy AI safely within FCA-regulated environments, powering everything from compliance monitoring to AI-driven adviser guidance.

The Opportunity: We're looking for an experienced Head of Implementation & Enablement to lead the team that turns a signed contract into a live, successful customer, and to make that journey faster, more transparent and more consistent as we scale.

This is a genuinely dual natured role. Part of it is the “organiser”: you'll own resourcing and capacity, knowing who's allocated to what, at what proportion, and where the constraints and bottlenecks sit, working closely with our Head of Customer Success and Head of Sales to make sure the right people are deployed to the right client projects at the right time, and bringing in outsourced implementation and development partners to cover overspill. The other part is the “strategist”: you're accountable for the entire journey from point of signature through to implementation “done,” and for making that process meaningfully better, putting in the tooling, metrics and process redesign to get there, including pushing Product toward a more self-serve onboarding experience.

You'll lead a team spanning Implementation Partners, Training & Enablement Managers, and Solution & Engineering capability, reporting into our Chief Client Officer.

What You'll Do:

  • The Organiser — Operational & Resourcing Leadership
    • Own visibility of resourcing across the team — who's allocated to what, at what proportion, and where capacity constraints or bottlenecks are emerging.
    • Act as the operational bridge between Implementation, Customer Success and Sales, working with the Head of Customer Success and Head of Sales to ensure resource is correctly deployed to client projects as and when needed.
    • Manage relationships with outsourced implementation and development partners, bringing in external capacity to cover overspill without compromising quality or consistency.
    • Build the reporting and planning rhythm that gives leadership early visibility of resourcing risk, before it becomes a delivery problem.
  • The Strategist — Owning the Signature-to-Live Journey
    • Take full accountability for the customer journey from point of signature through to implementation “done”. You'll have real empowerment, and be measured on, continuously improving its speed and transparency as we scale.
    • Design and implement the tooling and processes needed to make implementation more transparent, predictable and efficient. Accountable for the implementation operating model and playbook.
    • Work cross-functionally with Product to make the platform more self-serve, reducing time-to-value and the burden of manual onboarding.
    • Working across our GTM partners to adapt and build implementation processes that can be delivered by our partners and co-sellers.
    • Set and own the metrics that track implementation health and speed, and report on them with full transparency.
    • Define and own the model and processes to optimise client enablement once implementation is complete.
  • Playbooks, Training & Enablement
    • Own and design Aveni's implementation and enablement playbooks, the repeatable, scalable methodology behind every client go-live and adoption.
    • Design and own how Aveni delivers first-class training and enablement, both for clients and for the internal team.
    • Build a coaching and development culture across Implementation, Training & Enablement, and Solution & Engineering capability.

What You'll Bring:

  • Essential
    • Significant leadership experience running Implementation, Professional Services, Programme Management or a similar delivery function within a B2B SaaS or technology business.
    • Proven experience managing resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple concurrent client projects.
    • A track record of redesigning a slow or opaque delivery process, with real, measurable improvement in speed and transparency to show for it.
    • Experience leading a blended team spanning delivery/implementation, training/enablement and technical or solutions capability.
    • Comfort working with outsourced or partner delivery resources to manage overspill capacity.
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Sales, Customer Success and Product.
    • Experience designing or owning training and enablement programmes, for clients, internal teams, or both.
    • A data-driven, process-oriented mindset. Comfortable building and living by metrics that track delivery performance.
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience within AI, compliance or regulated technology.
    • Experience working with Financial Services organisations.
    • Experience with formal resource or programme management tooling.
    • Experience influencing a product roadmap toward self-serve, lower-touch onboarding.

Why Join Aveni? You'll own one of the most direct levers on customer experience in the business, the journey from signed deal to live, successful customer — at a company where that journey directly shapes trust in AI within regulated financial services. As our Head of Implementation & Enablement, you'll have the mandate and the empowerment to continuously improve how we deliver, build the playbooks and training that raise the bar going forward, and shape how Product, Sales and Customer Success work together around delivery. You'll have real ownership, visibility and the opportunity to build a modern implementation function, leveraging data, tooling and smart process design at a pivotal stage of Aveni's growth.

Benefits at Aveni: Remote-first working across the UK. Company-wide offsites and regular in-person gatherings. Work abroad policy. Optional Personal Development Plan.
