We are recruiting a Senior New Business Manager to join our winning UK Sales team. We are looking for a sales expert in the hospitality sector who has a proven track record selling into hotels and the wider hospitality sector. You will report to our UK Sales Director and be an expert in your field. We are looking for proven candidates that have sold and succeeded in this sector.
Your role will be to discover and pursue new sales prospects across the UK, creating a strong sales pipeline and delivering growth in the Hospitality/Hotel Sector in line with the business strategy. The role will be home based but you must be able to travel the whole of the UK.

- New Business Sales Plan: Develop, agree, and implement a sales plan for exceeding new business targets within the defined sector, targeting large independents and groups of hotels.
- Partner with Marketing to develop innovative collateral and maximise use of communication channels to support the delivery of the sales plan.
- Form strategic partnerships with others to leverage business opportunities and widen networks.
- Self-generate sales leads through proactive networking including participating in industry events, networking, liaising with trade bodies and in-depth research.
- Discover new opportunities that support our strategic direction and quickly identify and engage with key decision makers, establishing their needs and aligning the company's offering.
- Where our offering is unrecognised, actively work to generate interest and a genuine need.
- Take responsibility for final commercial offering, ensuring profitability is in line with the business strategy. Where necessary, present a robust commercial business case to justify any deviation.
- Client Management: Carefully document the sales activity, lessons learnt and diligently handover to the Sales operations and key stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.
- Maintain suitable contact with the client to effectively assess the quality of service delivery; where issues are identified ensure that these are referred to the appropriate stakeholder for resolution.
- Foster an effective and lasting relationship in the early months of the trading relationship. Remain curious about their business and increase knowledge and understanding of their opportunities and challenges.
Skills & Qualities:
- New business experience gained in a professional service sales environment, not product.
- Experience in selling services in the hospitality sector, preferably hotels with a strong network of opportunity and contacts within the sector.
- Significant experience of the full sales cycle and new business development.
- Proven success as an effective networker.
