About the Role
Are you highly organised, detail‑driven, and analytical, with an interest in strategic sourcing and data? Avendra International (Aramark) is looking for a highly organised and detail‑focused Strategic Sourcing Co-ordinator to join our UK & Ireland Sourcing team. This permanent role is based at our Guildford Head Office and offers the opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management
- Complete daily system and pricing updates.
- Maintain accurate pricing information across the Pelican PI and Aramark Aratrade systems.
- Request, analyse, and report on supplier data.
- Support analysis of rebate tracker data and liaise with suppliers regarding outstanding information.
- Assist the Sourcing Team with tender support for both Aramark and GPO businesses.
- Contracts
- Support new supplier set‑ups and onboarding processes alongside the Supply Chain Team.
- Assist with contract build and execution, ensuring accurate loading into the Contract Software System.
- Ensure all rebate details from contracts are accurately captured and maintained in trackers.
- General Administration
- Utilise Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to support sourcing activities.
- Maintain accurate product and price files across the sourcing function.
- Support key project deliveries and general team requirements.
- Assist Directors and Managers in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with logistics and share relevant information across the buying team.
What You Bring
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working across the full MS Office suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A proactive, professional, and team‑oriented approach, with the confidence to work independently and take initiative.
- 3+ years’ analytical experience, ideally within a buying, procurement, or sourcing environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, particularly when working with data, pricing, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience supporting procurement, buying, or sourcing functions (advantageous but not essential).
- A collaborative mindset with well‑developed interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not essential).
