We're partnering with a prestigious global insurer to find an experienced Events & Sponsorship Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile events, sponsorships and hospitality activity across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating impactful experiences that strengthen relationships with brokers, partners and clients.
You'll take ownership of major national events, work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in evolving a more strategic, data-led approach to events and sponsorship activation.
The role: Reporting into the Head of Marketing Services, you'll lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of a wide range of live, virtual and hybrid events.
- Leading end-to-end delivery of events, sponsorships and hospitality programmes
- Managing flagship industry events, exhibitions and awards
- Creating engaging experiences that support broker engagement and brand visibility
- Activating sponsorships creatively to maximise engagement and ROI
- Managing budgets, suppliers, venues and external agencies
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through reporting tools, CRM platforms and AI-enabled solutions
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering B2B events end to end
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams simultaneously
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and managing live environments
- Experience managing suppliers, budgets and logistics
- Calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Desirable experience:
- Sponsorship activation or hospitality programmes
- Agency-side events background
- Financial services, insurance or other regulated B2B environments
- Exposure to tools such as HubSpot, Dynamics, Power BI or Copilot
