Key responsibilities
- Underwriting new and existing Trade Credit risks across a diverse portfolio
- Supporting the growth and development of broker and client relationships
- Conducting detailed financial and credit analysis on submissions
- Assessing trade and export finance risks, including single risk and whole turnover business
- Preparing and presenting underwriting submissions for peer review
- Negotiating policy terms and conditions
- Supporting portfolio management, retention and profitability targets
- Working closely with senior underwriters and business development teams on strategic growth initiatives
- Engaging directly with brokers, banks and insureds across the market

- Experience within Trade Credit, Political Risk, Surety, Banking or a related financial risk environment
