A leading London Market specialty insurer is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and grow key regional broker relationships across the North West.
This is a commercially focused, relationship-led role, ideal for someone who understands the London Market environment and enjoys shaping account strategy, building broker partnerships, and working closely with underwriters to drive profitable growth.
The role
You will own a portfolio of regional broker accounts, developing account plans, building pipeline, and delivering against new business targets. Working closely with underwriting teams, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure London Market sector propositions land effectively in the regional broker market.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver account plans for allocated broker accounts
- Build and maintain senior broker relationships through structured development meetings and QBRs
- Develop and convert pipeline to drive regional growth
- Partner with underwriters to support competitive new business terms
- Confidently present London Market sector propositions to brokers
- Identify and pursue new broker opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM data, including meaningful meeting notes and follow-up actions
About you
- Proven London Market insurance experience – essential
