A prestigious global specialty insurance business is looking to appoint a commercially driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead acquisition strategy across two established direct-to-customer brands. This is a high-impact, performance‑led role focused on driving lead generation, search growth and ROI across both paid and organic channels. This is not a brand awareness role — the focus is firmly on commercial performance, conversion optimisation and delivering against ambitious growth targets.
The Opportunity
You’ll own the search marketing strategy across PPC and SEO, working closely with specialist agencies and internal stakeholders to drive measurable business results across highly competitive markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading paid search strategy across high‑spend PPC accounts
- Managing and challenging external agency performance and recommendations
- Driving ROI/ROAS optimisation and acquisition efficiency
- Forecasting lead volumes, search performance and campaign effectiveness
- Leading SEO strategy including technical optimisation, content performance and organic growth initiatives
- Supporting digital PR, backlink acquisition and generative search/LLM optimisation
- Collaborating closely with UX/CRO and operational teams to improve conversion performance
- Managing website and content optimisation activity
- Supporting and mentoring a Digital Marketing Assistant
- Maintaining strong reporting, analytics and commercial oversight across all activity

- Strong SEO strategy and optimisation experience
- Experience working closely with external agencies
- Commercially focused with strong analytical capability
