I'm partnering with a leading global insurer to recruit a Senior Reserving Actuary into its Global Reserving team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly respected actuarial function responsible for one of the market's largest global reinsurance portfolios, managing approximately $3bn of reserves. Working as part of an international team spanning London and the US, you'll play a key role in reserving, regulatory reporting and the continued transformation of the global reserving function.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality reserving analysis while helping drive innovation and process improvement across the team:
- Deliver quarterly reserve reviews and actuarial analysis.
- Prepare, validate and analyse reserving data.
- Manage actuarial data within the MRD reporting environment.
- Support annual regulatory reporting.
- Contribute to global reserving and transformation projects.
- Lead workstreams and project initiatives, depending on experience.
I'm keen to speak with qualified or nearly qualified actuaries with strong experience within General Insurance Reserving. Strong SQL skills are required. Experience with Alteryx, Python and Databricks would be highly advantageous. Gain exposure to SQL, ResQ, Python, Alteryx and Databricks.
