This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing and collaborative team, supporting a broad portfolio across Professional & Management Risks. The role sits within a fast-paced, broker-facing environment, with a strong focus on service, retention, and relationship management.
The role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of renewals and mid-term adjustments, working closely with brokers to retain and grow business. The role offers strong exposure across multiple product lines and a high level of autonomy within underwriting authority.
Key responsibilities
- Managing and underwriting renewals and mid-term adjustments across multiple product lines
- Delivering a high level of service to brokers via Acturis, email and phone
- Proactively following up on renewals to secure and retain business
- Building strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring broker activity and identifying opportunities for improvement or growth
- Supporting wider team initiatives and ad hoc projects
Skills & experience
- 2+ yearsβ experience within underwriting or a technical broking role
- Exposure to commercial or financial lines business (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload
- Confident communicator, comfortable handling broker queries via phone and email
- Experience using Acturis (preferred but not essential)
- Keen to continue developing technically, with support for CII qualifications
