It is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who understands the delegated authority, broker, and MGA landscape and enjoys acting as a trusted commercial partner to brokers and internal stakeholders.
The Opportunity
- Newly created role within a newly formed Schemes function
- Ownership of an existing and growing portfolio of Scheme business
- Cross‑class exposure across a broad range of insurance products
- High levels of stakeholder interaction with brokers, underwriters, operations, governance, and claims
- National role with flexibility on location, supported by regular London travel
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end oversight of delegated authority / Scheme arrangements
- Leading performance reviews, including QBRs, trend analysis, and renewal discussions
- Acting as the primary point of contact for broker partners
- Supporting retention strategies and defensive tenders
- Ensuring robust governance, oversight, and reporting standards
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver strong commercial and service outcomes
About You
- Strong UK insurance background (essential)
- Proven experience working with delegated authority / Scheme or MGA business
- Commercially minded with a strong account management track record
- Confident using data and MI to drive conversations and outcomes
