We’re partnering with a global specialty insurer to recruit a senior procurement professional to play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding a best-in-class Group Procurement and Vendor Management capability. This is a high-impact, multi-disciplinary role focused on simplifying the vendor ecosystem, strengthening governance, and driving measurable commercial and operational value across the business.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to design and implement a robust procurement framework aligned to UK and international regulatory expectations, while building strong partnerships across risk, technology, compliance and operational teams globally.
Key Responsibilities- Own and embed Vendor Management across the organisation
- Design procurement policies, controls and playbooks aligned to regulatory requirements
- Drive value from strategic supplier relationships and track savings
- Lead supplier segmentation, governance and performance management
- Oversee key procurement projects, issue resolution and MI reporting
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement/vendor management within a regulated environment
- Experience in working across multiple operational divisions
- Strong knowledge of outsourcing, material and cloud supplier regulation
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Advanced contract management, RFP and commercial expertise
