We're currently recruiting for a Contract Wordings Technician to join a leading global insurer for their UK Wordings team. This role can be based in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham or London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical insurance knowledge and experience working with liability insurance wordings.
You'll be working closely with UK Underwriters, senior stakeholders, and the wider technical wordings team to provide expert guidance on policy wordings, product development, and contract reviews across a range of insurance products.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing and advising on policy wordings, broker wordings, and binding authorities
- Supporting UK Underwriters with technical wording queries and product development
- Drafting bespoke clauses and wordings for complex or large risks
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Managing wording repositories and maintaining accurate records
- Monitoring market, legal, and regulatory developments impacting product wordings
- Working collaboratively across Compliance, Legal, Product Governance, and Operations teams
What we're looking for:
- Strong understanding of liability insurance wordings
- Experience in legal contract drafting or insurance policy drafting
