This position offers a unique opportunity to support the marine insurance sector at the centre of a major global insurance marketplace. The role involves contributing to discussions on pressing industry topics such as sustainability, emerging technologies, and geopolitical impacts on trade.

A key part of the job includes supporting industry committees and working groups, coordinating projects, and providing guidance on technical and strategic issues. The post-holder will also help shape industry initiatives by working with stakeholders including regulators, international bodies, and government entities.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage committees and working groups
• Deliver or support technical projects and market initiatives
• Act as a key contact for stakeholders, responding to queries and offering guidance
• Maintain strong working relationships with industry organisations
• Communicate developments through media and events

Experience

• Strong understanding of marine insurance and current challenges
• Experience in underwriting, claims, compliance or legal (preferred)
• Familiarity with multiple marine lines (e.g., Hull, Cargo, Liability)
• Knowledge of market operations and future priorities
