Risk Manager - Model Risk

A leading global insurer is looking for a Model Risk Management Lead to join its growing and dynamic risk function. With operations across more than 20 countries, this organisation is known for its innovative, people-first culture and commitment to supporting clients in complex, evolving environments.

In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for leading the validation of internal capital models and challenging a wide range of business-critical models, including those used for pricing, catastrophe exposure, capital planning, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. You’ll take a hands-on role in shaping model governance in line with regulatory guidance (e.g., PRA’s CP6/22), while helping embed model risk management as a key strategic discipline across the enterprise.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and regulatory bodies. In addition to managing a sub-team, you’ll contribute to key committee meetings, coach junior colleagues, and support strategic risk initiatives.
