Senior Consultant - Binder Operations
London 6-month contract opportunity
A global specialist insurance business is looking for a Senior Consultant - Binder Operations to join its underwriting governance function on an initial 6-month contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate Binding Authority agreements across the full lifecycle, including onboarding, renewals, amendments and termination.
- Coordinate delegated authority activity across underwriting, operations, compliance, brokers and external stakeholders.
- Support Coverholder onboarding, applications, due diligence and associated documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, operational controls and reporting, while providing technical guidance on complex binder matters.
We're looking for:
- Strong experience in Binding Authority / Delegated Authority within the Lloyd's or London Market.
- Practical experience managing binder lifecycles, including renewals, amendments and onboarding.
- Strong understanding of Coverholders, MGA arrangements and delegated authority governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, organisation and attention to detail, with the confidence to operate as a technical point of reference.
