Job Description
Change Lead and Supplier Oversight - Lloyd's Market Association (LMA)
Avencia is partnering with the Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) to appoint a Change Lead - a newly created role at the heart of change, service and supplier governance across the Lloyd's market.
This is a rare opportunity to influence market-wide technology and change initiatives, working closely with the Operations Director, Lloyd's, managing agents and third-party suppliers. You'll have significant exposure to market committees and the Board, helping shape priorities and secure sponsorship and funding for change.
The role:
- Oversee change, run and risk activity across key market services and delivery partners.
- Review and challenge project documentation, including PIDs, budgets, testing plans and delivery forecasts.
- Shape and influence market improvement initiatives, working with third-party delivery partners.
- Monitor supplier performance, service levels, risks and budgets.
- Present to committees and the Board, helping secure sponsorship and funding for change initiatives.
- Ensure proposed changes deliver value for managing agents without negatively impacting existing market services.
What we're looking for:
- Experience across change, project, programme, portfolio or PMO environments.
- Strong experience managing change and project governance across multiple methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2)
- Experience within, or strong exposure to, the Lloyd's / London Market.
- Strong stakeholder and third-party supplier management skills.
- Comfortable influencing and challenging without direct authority.
- Pragmatic, collaborative and hands-on, with the confidence to step up and take ownership.
This is a genuinely unusual opportunity to work in a small team with significant market-wide influence, helping shape key technology and change initiatives across Lloyd's.
