About
Avencia are partnered with a leading global specialty insurer company, who are looking to recruit a Delegated Account Technician in their London office. The team offer hybrid working, coming into the office 2-3 times a week.
You'll be joining a growing function of Delegated Account Technicians and Data Analysts, led by the Delegated Authority Data Manager. Their focus is on analysing and processing bordereaux into downstream systems-offering a fast-paced, supportive workplace with plenty of scope to build your technical and insurance knowledge.
The role
- Ensuring timely and accurate bordereaux processing, maintaining high-quality data standards
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues
- Monitoring data quality, binder terms, bordereaux receipts, and financial performance
- Escalating unresolved data issues or performance concerns appropriately and promptly
- Working closely with Credit Control to manage written vs signed premium variances
- Actively participating in team activities including stand-ups, weekly meetings, and both remote and in-person collaboration
- Engaging with brokers and cover holders to drive data quality improvements at source
Skills & experience
- Previous experience within insurance, ideally with exposure to bordereaux or commercial lines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to SLAs and meet KPIs
- Confident communicator with a solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable working with data and contributing to team success in a collaborative setting
