The role We’re recruiting for an exciting Claims Specialist opportunity with our client, a London Market specialty insurance provider, following a period of outstanding growth to their book of business. This role will involve coverage of the US, UK and International professional indemnity claims, working closely with underwriters on complex claims and to further grow the book of business! What the role will involve: – Accountable & responsible for handling Financial & Professional Lines claims (underwritten in the Specialty UK Branch) within designated Claims Authority Limit via referral and directly, ensuring that the best outcomes for our clients and business are achieved consistently. – Proactively delivering a first-class claims experience to policyholders, brokers and internal stakeholders in adherence with all company guidelines, claims philosophy and procedures. – To actively monitor accounts for relevant classes of business to ensure early and prudent best estimate reserves are in place & entered into systems, valid claims are settled promptly with a tight control of costs throughout lifecycle.
