Civil Litigator (0-3 PQE) – Manchester (Hybrid) Salary: Competitive + 10% annual bonus + excellent benefits We are seeking a talented Civil Litigator to join a leading, forward-thinking law firm with offices across Manchester, Leeds, London, and Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced Civil Litigation team that values flexibility, development, and a supportive working culture. The Role: You\’ll be part of a dedicated Civil Litigation team handling a broad range of disputes, including breach of contract, nuisance, property/boundary issues, professional negligence, and construction matters. The caseload will be varied, combining both claimant and defendant work, with most cases funded under legal expenses insurance alongside some privately funded matters. Key Responsibilities: Provide initial prospects opinions on a variety of civil disputes. Manage your own caseload under supervision, recommending reserves and setting strategies. Deliver clear, pragmatic advice that considers both legal and commercial realities. Maintain the highest standards of client care and service. Meet billing targets and key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with all procedures and deadlines. About You: 0-3 years PQE (newly qualified candidates with strong litigation experience will be considered). Commercial litigation experience and good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules. Experience handling insurance claims, ideally legal expenses insurance. Confident in managing your own caseload under supervision. Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and a \”can-do\” team attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems (Partner for Windows preferred).
