Avencia has partnered with a leading insurer and Fortune 500 company to recruit a Life Science and Clinical Trials Underwriter based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant or Junior Underwriter with experience in Life Sciences or Clinical Trials underwriting who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the delivery and monitoring of the underwriting strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes and data management.
- Apply sound underwriting and risk management practices within agreed authority levels.
- Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships.
- Represent the business at meetings and industry events as required.
- Provide underwriting support to international offices and manage referral approvals.
- Contribute to effective portfolio management.
