Private Household is seeking a dedicated Animal Carer to join our team and support the well-being of our diverse range of animals, including chickens, goats, alpacas, pigs, ponies, donkeys, sheep, and dogs.
Your Role:
- Feeding, watering, and maintaining clean and comfortable environments for all animals.
- Grooming ponies and donkeys and providing necessary health care.
- Conducting monthly worm counts and monitoring animal health.
- Supporting animal movement and relocation when needed.
- Cleaning and maintaining enclosures, including compost sorting.
- Washing feed and water buckets daily.
- Checking field conditions and ensuring fencing is secure.
- Assisting with the care of family dogs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in animal care, farm work, or a similar role is desirable.
- A strong work ethic and passion for animal welfare.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to work some weekends and bank holidays as required.
- A proactive and responsible approach to tasks.
