Immediate Start 6–12 week contract, with potential to extend or become permanent. We’re looking for a tenacious, organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to jump in and support our busy National Accounts team as soon as possible. If you enjoy keeping things moving, solving problems and working with people, this could be a great opportunity.
About Avena: Avena is a forward-thinking, fast-growing secure destruction company based in Dereham, Norfolk. As our business continues to grow, our National Accounts team needs extra support to help deliver excellent service and keep performance on track.
The Role: You’ll play a key part in keeping the sales team running smoothly, supporting customers, colleagues and account managers with day-to-day administration.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing inbox and call traffic, making sure enquiries are picked up and responded to promptly
- Delegating tasks to colleagues and handling CRM tickets
- Supporting external Account Managers with admin tasks as needed
- Helping with contract amendments so customers receive documents that are accurate and fit for purpose
- Using systems and data to create quarterly reports for National Account Managers
- Working with teams across the business to deliver the best possible customer service

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong administration and communication skills
- A diligent, proactive approach with great attention to detail
- Confidence delegating actions and following up
- Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce or a similar CRM system would be an advantage
- A team player who is happy to get stuck in and support a customer-focused sales environment
- This role is office based
