This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Team Leader based in Dereham. The Operations Team Leader will oversee daily operations including secure destruction processes, security audits, supporting our drivers with their van stock/offloads and ensure adherence to service standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a small but capable team
- Monitoring performance
- Ensuring compliance with company policies
- Driving efficiency in processes
- Training and coaching team members to achieve operational excellence and support our goals
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising and motivating teams
- Proficiency in planning and managing operations to ensure efficiency and quality through-put
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including team training and collaboration
- Knowledge of secure destruction processes, GDPR compliance and environmental sustainability standards is an asset
- Previous experience in operations/service centre management is preferred
