We are looking for a proactive Logistics Planner & Administrator to join our operation team in Dereham. This key role supports the planning of routes, customer service activities, and efficient use of fleet and depot resources. Working closely with Customer Service, Client Care, Quality & Compliance, and the management team to ensure excellent service delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and optimise daily routes for drivers using Total Recall, focusing on service levels and efficient fleet utilisation.
  • Support the Client Care team with customer queries, complaints, and requests.
  • Manage internal transport routing between depots.
  • Complete daily administration within Total Recall to support invoicing, certification, and service performance.
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure accurate resource utilisation.
  • Prepare performance reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Manage depot stock control and purchasing.
  • Work with the Quality & Compliance Manager to ensure safety, security, and best practice across fleet, CSR, and customer operations.
  • Collaborate with management teams across depots to maintain clear communication and consistent standards.
  • Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement and lean working practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and job-specific processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in routing, logistics, or fleet management.
  • Administration experience including document processing and spreadsheet use.
  • A responsible and proactive approach, with a willingness to take ownership and seek or provide support.
  • Experience within the waste, security, textile, or shredding industries.
  • FLT licence.
