Location: Tewkesbury, Hybrid 1 day per week in office.

Avellio has currently been tasked with supporting a global software house in the security space and recruiting on their behalf for a cloud infrastructure engineer to join the team.

We are currently seeking a cloud infrastructure engineer to join a small close-knit team based in Tewkesbury to support on a variety of projects across the entire business using a variety of tools such as Azure, Linux and Docker.

The ideal candidate will have some experience and exposure to cloud technologies and Linux command lines, with some of the core responsibilities such as design, implementation, security, performance monitoring and optimisation.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in the cloud infrastructure space and also some junior candidates who may have some but not all of the skills listed.

Core skills & experience:
  • Experience with using demonstrable analytical, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
  • A proven ability to research and contribute towards the development of innovative solutions.
  • Ability to use Service Desk tools to manage incidents/changes/problems tickets and carry out reporting activity.
  • Knowledge and experience testing, deploying, and maintaining Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Networks in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with Linux command lines.
  • Ideally some exposure to docker containers.
