Avellio is partnering with a nationwide law practice and recruiting on their behalf for a New Business Assistant to join the team. We are seeking a diligent Conveyancing Assistant to provide full support to our Conveyancing department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality client service.
The role involves:
- Preparing correspondence using our case management system
- Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person
- Administering filing systems, including daily filing and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files
- Maintaining good relationships with new business introducers
- Guiding clients through the initial steps of their move
- Preparing mail for dispatch
- Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork
Additional duties may be assigned as required. The ideal candidate will have some administration experience within residential conveyancing and demonstrate initiative. You should possess a high level of accuracy, the ability to work under pressure, and be a team player with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm. Being highly organised, methodical, and adaptable is essential, as is a desire to progress within the new business department. A background in sales or an understanding of sales of legal services is advantageous. A good telephone manner and comfort in client interactions are also important.
