Avellio is partnering with a nationwide law practice and recruiting on their behalf for a Family Law Solicitor to join the team. We are seeking a skilled Family Law Solicitor to manage a caseload of family law matters under the supervision of the director. This role involves providing advice on private law children matters, divorce, financial settlements, separation, domestic violence, pre and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitee disputes. You will handle complex and time-sensitive cases, take new instructions, conduct legal research, and engage in advocacy. Additionally, you will assist the director, manage new enquiries, and participate in networking and business development activities.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified senior solicitor (3-5+ PQE desirable) or hold equivalent qualifications (e.g., CILEX, CLC). You should have a proven track record in managing your own caseload of privately funded work, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate commercial acumen. Strong IT skills, a good academic record, and experience in family law are essential. The successful candidate will be highly organised, methodical, adaptable, and driven to provide a high standard of service to clients.
