Aveda Education is seeking a talented Texture and Technical Hair Colour Educator to join our team. The role involves becoming an expert in texture hair and hair colour, inspiring the Aveda network through educational events in salons, academies, or online platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and delivering the Aveda Texture curriculum for the UK
- Providing technical hair colour education for salon accounts in Midlands, North England, and Scotland
- Attracting and converting new salons specializing in prestige texture services
- Expanding the skill base of the Aveda network for prestige texture services
- Exceeding growth targets for Hair Colour and Styling in your area
- Monitoring regional growth objectives
- Growing engagement and conversion through virtual colour education
- Delivering classes from Mastery to Creative levels
- Attending skill-building training as needed
- Ensuring all courses meet established competency standards through assessments
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining Aveda texture Ambassadors
- Training Salon Development Partners in product knowledge, mission, philosophy, and basic education skills
- Maintaining communication with partners and the Education Manager to ensure satisfaction
- Adhering to company policies and managing expenses within set targets
- Planning diaries proactively and organizing car stock accordingly
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in all aspects of hairdressing
- Outstanding colour skills and passion for hair colour
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hairdressing industry
- Proficiency in professional social media
- Experience in delivering educational curricula is advantageous
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret financial and sales reports
- Computer proficiency required
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in coaching others
- Willingness to stay away from home approximately 3 nights per week with occasional travel on Sundays
