Aveda Education is seeking a talented Texture and Technical Hair Colour Educator to join our team. The role involves becoming an expert in texture hair and hair colour, inspiring the Aveda network through education events in salons, academies, or online.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and deliver the Aveda Texture curriculum for the UK
- Provide technical hair colour education for salons in Midlands, North England & Scotland
- Attract and convert salons specializing in prestige texture services
- Expand the skill set of the Aveda network for prestige texture services
- Achieve growth targets in Hair Colour and Styling
- Monitor regional growth objectives
- Enhance engagement and conversion via virtual colour education
- Deliver classes from Mastery to Creative levels
- Participate in skill-building training
- Ensure all courses meet competency standards through assessments
- Recruit, develop, and retain Aveda texture Ambassadors
- Train Salon Development Partners in Aveda products, philosophy, and basic education
- Maintain communication with partners and managers to ensure satisfaction
- Adhere to company policies and manage expenses
- Plan diaries proactively and organize car stock according to targets
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in hairdressing, especially in colour
- Minimum 5 years in the industry
- Outstanding colour skills and passion for hair colour
- Strong social media, organisational, and facilitation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to interpret financial and sales reports
- Proficient with computers
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in coaching and training others
- Willing to stay away from home about 3 nights per week with occasional travel on Sundays
