Aveda Education is seeking a talented Texture and Technical Hair Colour Educator to join the team. The role involves being an expert in texture hair and hair colour, inspiring the Aveda network through education events in salons, academies, or online.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the Aveda Texture curriculum for the UK
- Deliver technical hair colour education for salons in Midlands, North England & Scotland
- Attract and convert salons specializing in prestige texture services
- Expand the skill base of the Aveda network in prestige texture services
- Exceed growth targets for Hair Colour and Styling
- Monitor regional growth objectives
- Grow engagement through virtual colour education
- Deliver classes from Mastery to Creative level
- Attend training sessions as required
- Ensure all courses meet competency standards
- Complete training assessments on product knowledge and technical skills
- Recruit, develop, and retain Aveda texture Ambassadors
- Train Salon Development Partners in product knowledge and education delivery
- Maintain communication with partners and managers for customer satisfaction
- Adhere to company policies and manage expenses
- Plan diaries proactively and organize car stock accordingly
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in hairdressing
- Outstanding colour skills and passion for hair colour
- Minimum 5 years’ industry experience
- Excellent social media skills
- Experience in education delivery is advantageous
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to understand financial reports
- Proficient with computers
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience coaching others
- Willing to travel and stay away from home about 3 nights a week, including occasional Sundays
