I am currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan. Salary up to £34,000 + Benefits.
The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover north of £85m, employ 500 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.
In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another Production Supervisor on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all team KPIs are consistently met with a specific focus on achieving, and ideally exceeding, production output targets. You will take full ownership of your team and be expected to drive performance to ensure timelines are met on the production line.
You will lead a team of approximately 15 staff members which are made up of Assembly and Operative roles. A key responsibility will be to ensure the correct staffing levels at each station to complete required tasks efficiently. This role may also involve liaising with Procurement staff to stay up to date on material requirements.
