I am currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in South Yorkshire. Salary up to £55,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are market leaders within their field delivering world class technology solutions into specialist markets. They employ close to 100 experts within their areas of expertise and supply their highly sophisticated equipment they design to clients all over the globe.
In this role as a Process Engineer, you will be required to design sophisticated processes for a range of challenging applications. You will be supporting production with breakdown or issues, to ensure all processes are working correctly, involved with product development and support with regards to issues that could arise due to the process, designing new equipment including P&IDs from scratch, as well as taking responsibility for building and implementing them and travelling to customer sites to commission new equipment installs. Travel is varied and shared across a rotating team with assignments in the UK and abroad.
Requirements- At least 1 year experience as a Process Engineer or similar
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to travel to customer sites in the UK and abroad when required
- Experience working with materials (Ideally metals)
- Previous hands on experience commissioning process plants
- Experience designing P&IDs from scratch
