Senior Structural Fire Engineer - Fully Remote - up to £80,000 + Benefits - REF 2048
I am currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Fire Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation on a fully remote basis. Salary up to £80,000 + Benefits.
The organisation has been established for over 35 years and has an incredible reputation in the market positioning them as one of the UK's leading suppliers of their highly specialist products.
To support the ambitious, but realistic growth plans of the business they have created a completely new role within their business and have the need to appoint a Senior Structural Fire Engineer on a permanent basis to head up their Structural Division, specifically with regards to Fire Engineering.
In this role a Senior Structural Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for designing primarily steel structures. These steel structures need to be designed with fire conditions in mind and therefore you will be paying particular attention to how metals perform in a fire and what can be done with regards to the material to ensure it offers more protection which could include increasing its yield strength, opposed to using Fire Protection.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Structural Fire Engineer, Structural Engineer or similar
- Previous experience in designing structures able to withstand fire conditions, specifically with regards to some or all of the following standards BS EN #removed#, BS EN #removed# and BS EN #removed#
Desirable Requirements:
- Chartered (CEng)
- Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFire E)
