Job Description Senior Scaffold Design Engineer – London – Up to £90,000 + Benefits – Ref 1731 I am currently recruiting for a Senior Scaffold Design Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in London. The organisation has been in operation for over 25 years and are one of the biggest Scaffolding Companies across the UK and they employ over 350 people in the London area. In addition to this they have a very well-established client base and are one of the most recognisable companies within their area of specialism. To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted they have the need to appoint a Senior Scaffold Design Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Senior Scaffold Design Engineer you will be attending sites, meeting clients to write or interpret Design requirements and consult with them throughout the process, attending site surveys and project meetings are required. You will oversee the design risk assessment, calculations and structural analysis sticking to the ‘safety by design’ as a mantra to design out risks and hazards. In addition to this you will be mentoring and leading other Design Engineers, delegating work, overseeing it and making sure regulations are met. Ideal Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience in Scaffold Design / Temporary Works Design Competent with using CAD packages (AutoCAD and Revit) Managerial and Mentorship experience CSCS Card This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Scaffold Design Engineer to work for a UK leading Scaffold company that are actively growing and working on prestigious projects all year round across London.
