I am currently recruiting for a Technical Authority to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Surrey, but on a hybrid basis. Salary up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
The organisation has been established for over 30 years and is renowned for being the best at what they do within the defence and military sector on a global basis. They are a small yet specialist team employing around 50 people, with a turnover of over £20 million annually, a figure set to continue moving upwards based on the ever-increasing demand for their products and systems.
To support the business with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans, they have the need to appoint a Technical Authority on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Technical Authority, you will be responsible for leading all technical specifications for the company in line with RFQs from their customers. You will interpret the requirements from the customer whilst understanding the objectives and conduct the necessary research to come up with an appropriately engineered solution that meets or exceeds their expectations. Once satisfied, you will technically write the proposal for the customer, ensuring that the product, application or system complies with the necessary standards and legislation.
