Project Manager – Essex – up to £55,000 + Benefits – Ref 585
I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work for a key client of mine based in Essex. Salary up to £55,000 + Benefits.
The organisation has been in operation for over 40 years and has a turnover in excess of £100 million. They have 9 sites across the UK and employ over 500 people. They have a very well-established global client base and are one of the most recognisable companies within their area of specialism.
To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted they have the need to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Project Manager, you will be managing multiple projects simultaneously. This would typically include 3 smaller and 3 larger projects and they will range from being a day long to years. It will be a combination of new projects as well as modification, alternations, improvements and reinstatement projects on the existing plant. The larger projects will often involve 3-4 sub-contractors and you will be expected to manage them accordingly.
Essential Requirements:
•5 years experience as a Project Manager
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Understanding of pumps, conveyors, material handling equipment, tanks, silos, pipework and valves and similar heavy industrial equipment
Ideal Requirements:
– Understanding of HAZOP
– Understanding of LOPA
– Experience commisioning
