I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer to work for a leading Engineering organisation based in London. Salary up to £35,800 OTE £48,800 + Benefits. The organisation is an industry leader within their field delivering world class products into a specialist market. They have a team of highly motivated individuals that are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe.
Due to a further expansion in the demand of their product range, the organisation has the need to appoint an Electrical Test Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as an Electrical Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be troubleshooting and fault finding heavy duty machinery and capital equipment on the shop floor prior to it being shipped to a customer to ensure its fully functional. This will include PLCs and will typically be at systems level opposed to component. It will also be a hands on role and you could get involved in cabling, building panels, crimping and soldering.
Ideal Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Test Technician, or similar
- Knowledge of trouble shooting and fault finding on PLCs
- Understanding of Pneumatics
- Knowledge of trouble shooting HMI
