I am currently recruiting for a PPAP Engineer to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan, however on a hybrid basis. Salary up to £40,000 + Relocation + Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another PPAP Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a PPAP Engineer your primary responsibility will be to review and approve PPAP submissions. This role will also entail a hands-on element and you will be expected to measure samples via hand-held equipment, 3D scanners and vision systems, but full training can be provided. You will be reviewing, quality checking and approving drawings. You will also oversee quality audit trials where you will have to source samples, pass them to the testing team to conduct the necessary tests and then review the findings. There will be very infrequent travel to suppliers which will be 2-3 times per year and this will be UK based within the local area.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a PPAP Engineer or similar
- At least 2 years experience
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience within a highly regulated environment
- Experience with plastic injection moulded components
