General Manager – Gloucestershire – Salary up to £65,000 + Benefits + Car – Ref 1797
I am currently recruiting for a Gneral Manager to work for a leading organisation based in Gloucestershire. Salary up to £65,000 + Benefits + Car.
The organisation has a fantastic heritage having been established for over 100 years and subsequently have an unrivalled reputation in the market they operate within. They are seen as the go to providers of their products that are distributed across the whole of the UK. The company has various sites throughout the UK, but this specific site has around 40 people at it.
In line with the business objectives and due to an internal promotion they have the need to appoint a General Manager on a permanent basis.
In this role as a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the factory which primarily consists of Welders and Metal Fabricators. You will oversee 30 people and will be responsible for the output from the factory. You will be expected to motivate and inspire the shop floor team to ensure the factory is running optimally in order to meet or exceed its targets.
Essential Requirements:
– Previous experience as a General Manager, Production Manager, Works Manager or similar
– Previous experience working in a metal manufacturing facility (ideally overseeing Welders and Fabricators)
– Degree Educated
Ideal Requirements:
– Experience working in an SME (5-100 people)
