I am currently recruiting an Electronic Designer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Berkshire. Salary up to £50,000 + Benefits. To support the growth of the business and in line with current workload, they have the need to appoint an Electronic Designer on a permanent basis.

In this role as an Electronic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing products, taking them through from concept to manufacture. You will be working primarily on digital and analogue electronics for various projects, with the majority being IoT focused. You will be working in a team of other Electronics Design Engineers, but liaising with a multi-disciplined department.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' experience as an Electronic Designer or similar
  • Digital Analogue PCB Design and Schematic capture (ideally Altium)

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with IoT devices
  • Security Cleared (SC clearance)
  • EMC/EMI
  • Experience with Ethernet, UART, I2C, SPI, LINbus or CANbus
  • Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC
  • Experience with integrating commercial off the shelf electronics into bespoke electronic products and systems
  • Experience with Wi-Fi or BLE
  • CE certification
  • FCC certification
  • Experience with IPC2221B or similar PCB design standards
  • Experience with RED testing (Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU)
