I am currently recruiting for an Electrical (Building Services) Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in West Midlands. Salary up to £75,000 + Benefits.
The organisation has a fantastic reputation in the market and is seen as one of the leaders within sustainable energy design for the whole of the UK. They are pioneers within the space and are incredibly passionate about helping their customers achieve their Net Zero targets within their buildings and businesses. They work across a range of sectors including healthcare, education and industrial, but are constantly being approached to assist in other sectors.
To support the growth of the business and the major upcoming projects, they now have the need to appoint an Electrical (Building Services) Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as an Electrical (Building Services) Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design of my client's projects from inception to completion, as well as ensuring you produce all the applicable design documentation to validate the design. This could include test plans, material and component selection, and performance calculations.
Essential Requirements:- Previous experience as an Electrical (Building Services) Engineer or similar
- Experience with Trimble, E Plan or another industry package
- Previous experience with developing control panels such as MCCs and AMF systems, and power distribution boards using components like ACBs, MCCBs, and relays
- Experience with some or all of the following standards and how to apply them to design work/projects: BS 7671, BS EN 6061, HTM (Healthcare Technical Memorandum)
