I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan. The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business, they turnover north of £85m, employ 500 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.

In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans, they have the need to appoint another Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be working on a 2-shift basis pattern: early shifts from 6am-2pm for one week, then late shifts from 2pm-11pm the next, with an early finish of 6pm on Fridays.

You will be responsible for conducting reactive, scheduled, and planned maintenance on a range of automated equipment. There will also be an element of continuous improvement in the role as the company is consistently integrating new state-of-the-art equipment into their lines.

Essential Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar
  • Experience changing 3 phase motors and therefore dealing with 415 volts
  • Experience fault finding and troubleshooting PLCs
  • Experience working in a factory/production environment
