I'm currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to work for a very well established and market leading engineering organisation based in Hampshire. Salary up to £50,000 + Overtime + Benefits.
The organisation has a fantastic heritage having been in operation for close to 70 years and now employ around 200 people. They design, manufacture and assemble their products on site that are then sold and shipped globally. They’re seen as the industry experts for the products they manufacture and therefore tend to monopolize the market even on an international basis.
To support the growth of the business and to ensure they continually can produce the necessary quantities of their products they have the need to appoint another Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a range of automated production machinery, which is primarily CNC Machines. It will be a 60:40 electrical split and you’ll typically be dealing with PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and bearings. Whilst its primarily maintenance, you will get involved in Installation, Commissioning and facility maintenance when required. This will be a day shift Monday-Friday and overtime is readily available should this appeal.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar
- Experience fault finding and troubleshooting PLCs (ideally Siemens or Allen Bradley)
- Experience with 3 Phase systems
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience servicing, maintaining, installing, or commissioning CNC Machinery
- Knowledge of pneumatics, bearings, and/or hydraulics
- Full UK driving license
