I am currently recruiting for a Principal RF Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Surrey, on a hybrid basis. Salary up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
The organisation has been established for over 30 years and is renowned for being the best at what they do within the defence and military sector on a global basis. They are a small yet specialist team employing around 50 people, with a turnover of over £20 million annually, which is set to continue moving upwards based on the ever-increasing demand for their products and systems.
To support the business with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans, they have the need to appoint a Principal RF Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting highly sophisticated RF systems for a varied range of complex applications. You will interpret the requirements from the customer whilst understanding the objectives and conduct the necessary research to come up with an appropriately engineered solution that meets or exceeds their expectations. Once satisfied, you will technically write the proposal for the customer, ensuring that the product, application, or system complies with the necessary standards and legislations. You will also be liaising with suppliers.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Principal RF Engineer, Senior RF Engineer or similar
- At least 5 years' experience in industry
- Previous experience in producing technical documentation (tenders, bids, technical specifications, test plans, architecture documentation, user manuals, safety reports)
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience within the Defence, Military or Aerospace domains
- SC Cleared or previously having been SC Cleared
- Familiar with MIL, DEF, EMC standards
