Mechanical Design Engineer – Cornwall or Barnsley or Wolverhampton up to £37,000 + Benefits – Ref 193 I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation. Salary up to £37,000 + Benefits. The organisation is a market leading engineering firm that deliver their well-developed product portfolio to the UK market. They have an extensive track record of delivering their products to a very high standard and provide solutions for a whole magnitude of problems, whether it be complex or simple. They have a wealth of experienced individual\’s currently working for them which help to best define the perfect solution. To cope with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they the need to recruit for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating the plant layout designs, which would include selecting the necessary components and equipment to fulfil the project demands. This would involve creating 3D models as well as 2D drawings for manufacturing purposes. This role will also involve creating GAs (General Arrangement drawings) when required. Essential Requirements: Minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar At least 1 years\’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar 3D CAD Designing for Sheet Metal, Fabrication , welded, assemblies and components Desirable Requirements: Experience designing P&ID\’s & Pipework InventorThis is a very exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading organisation who operate at the forefront of their market.
